Road safety. Follow up your visit – Class Discussion
To know and understand how to use roads safely as a cyclist
Billy has been out riding his bike in the local town. He has just arrived home and is very upset and shaken. As he was riding along the road, a car pulled out in front of him and Billy only just missed getting knocked off his bike and being seriously hurt. Mr and Mrs Bowood are very upset and worried and tell Billy that he can only go out cycling again if they all can come up with ways in which he can make himself safer on his bike. What ideas could they come up with to help Billy?
