Here, visitors get a chance to really think about their safety as a pedestrian.  They will consider distractions, how long it takes a car to stop and the correct use of a pelican crossing.

Always find a safe place to cross.  A pedestrian crossing is the safest place.

Check that the traffic has stopped before crossing the road at a pedestrian crossing.

Be aware of things that may distract you from crossing the road safely.  For example checking your phone, using headphones or talking with your friends.
